Biography
Xherdan Shaqiri is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a winger for Premier League club Liverpool and the Switzerland national team. He began his career in 2007 playing at FC Basel and winning three Swiss Super League titles. He moved to Bayern Munich in 2012 and was not played very frequently for the three seasons he was there. In January 2015, he moved to Inter Milan where he only made 15 appearances. At the end of the season he moved to Stoke City where he played for three seasons. In 2018 he moved to Liverpool where he has made 35 appearances and scored 7 goals so far.
Shaqiri has represented Switzerland since the under-17 level in 2007. He became a full international in 2010 and has earned over 80 caps and scored 22 goals.
