The German national team will compete in Group F against France, Portugal and Hungary in the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship summer tournament. During the qualifiers, Jogi Löw’s men were in the same group as the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Belarus and Estonia.

The Group Stage matches for Germany look like this:
- Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. against France in the Allianz Arena, Munich
- Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. against Portugal in the Allianz Arena, Munich
- Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. against Hungary in the Allianz Arena, Munich
Should the team win group F, they would compete as group winners on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. in the National Arena, Bucharest, against the third-placed team from group A / B / C.
If Germany finishes second in the group, the team will have to play the second-placed team from group D on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the Aviva Arena, Dublin.
As one of the best third-placed teams they would have to play against the winner of group C in Budapest at 5 p.m. or against the winner of group B at 8 p.m. in Bilbao, San Mamés on Sunday, June 27, 2021.
