Team Highlights
The national soccer team of North Macedonia will play against the Netherlands, Austria and Ukraine in this year’s UEFA European Championship 2020 in Group C. In qualifying for the summer tournament, the team competed in group G with Poland, Austria, Slovenia, Israel and Latvia. In the play-offs, the North Macedonians were able to prevail against Kosovo and Georgia.
Igor Angelovski has been head coach since 2015.
37-year-old Igor Pandev, currently under contract with CFC Genoa, is their record international player and tops the list of goals scored with 36 goals. He is also the captain of the team.

The North Macedonia group stage matches are as follows:
- Sunday, June 13th 2021 at 6 p.m. GMT against Austria in the National Arena, Bucharest
- Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 2 p.m. against Ukraine in the National Arena, Bucharest
- Monday, June 21, 2021 at 5 p.m. against Netherlands in Johan Cruyff Arena, Amsterdam
Should the North Macedonians win group C, they would compete as group winners on Sunday, June 27th, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. GMT in the Puskas Arena, Budapest against the group third from D / E / F.
If North Macedonia finishes second in the group, the team will have to play against the Group A winner on Saturday, 26 June 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at Wembley Stadium, London.
As one of the best third-placed teams they would either have to play against the winner of Group F on Monday, June 28th, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. GMT in Bucharest or on Tuesday, June 29th at 8:00 p.m. in Glasgow, Hampden Park against the winners of group E.

This is the first time in the team’s history that they will be taking part in a major international tournament. North Macedonia prevailed in two play-offs. They currently stand at 500/1 to win.
