Team Highlights
Poland will compete in this year’s UEFA European Championship 2020 Group E against Slovakia, Spain and Sweden. During the qualifiers Poland was in the same group as Israel, Latvia, North Macedonia, Austria and Slovenia and finished top in the group.
The Polish team has been coached by Jerzy Brzeczek since 2018. The star striker of FC Bayern, Robert Lewandowski, is their most capped player and record goal scorer. The Polish team captain has 116 international appearances and 63 goals.

The group stage matches for Poland are as follows:
- Monday 14 June 2021 at 5:00 p.m. against Slovakia at Aviva Arena, Dublin
- Saturday 19 June 2021 at 8:00 p.m. against Spain in San Mamés, Bilbao
- Wednesday 23 June 2021 at 8:00 p.m. against Sweden at Aviva Arena, Dublin
Should the Poles win group E, they would compete as group winners on Tuesday, June 29th, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. in Hampden Park, Glasgow against the third-placed team from either group A / B / C / D.
If Poland finishes second in the group, the team will have to play the second-placed team fromgroup D on Monday 28 June 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the Parken, Copenhagen.
As one of the best third-placed teams they would have to play against the winner of group C in Budapest at 5 p.m. or against the winner of group B at 8 p.m. in Bilbao, San Mamés on Sunday, June 27, 2021.
