Team Highlights
Russia will face Belgium, Denmark and Finland in Group B at this year’s UEFA European Championship 2020. During the qualifiers the Russians had to compete against Belgium, Kazakhstan, San Marino, Scotland and Cyprus and finished as runners-up in the group.
Russia has been coached by Stanislaw Tschertschessow since 2016 and the team is led on the field by Artyom Dzjuba as captain. Sergej Ignaschewitsch is the national player with the most appearances with 127 games. As the most successful goalscorer, Alexander Kerhakov leads the list of goal scorers with 30 goals.

The group stage matches of Russia are as follows:
- Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. against Belgium at Gazprom Arena, St. Petersburg
- Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. against Finland in the Gazprom Arena, St. Petersburg
- Monday, June 21, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. against Belgium in the Gazprom Arena, St. Petersburg
Should the Russians win group B, they would compete as group winners on Sunday, June 27th 2021 at 8:00 p.m. in San Mamés, Bilbao against the third-placed team from A / D / E / F.
If Russia finishes second in the group, the team will have to play the second-placed team from Group A at the Johan Cruyff Arena, Amsterdam on Saturday 26 June 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
As one of the best third-placed teams they would either have to play against the winner of Group F on Monday, June 28th, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. in Bucharest or on Tuesday, June 29th at 8:00 p.m. in Glasgow, Hampden Park against the winner of group E.
