La furia roja of Spain will face Poland, Sweden and Slovakia in Group E at this year’s UEFA European Championship 2020. During the qualifiers, the Spanish team played against Sweden, Norway, Romania, Faroe Islands and Malta and won Group F.
The three-time European champions are coached by Luis Enrique. Sergio Ramos is the captain and also their most capped player with 178 appearances.
The record goalscorer for the Spanish national soccer team is David Villa, who scored 59 goals during his playing career.

The group stage matches for Spain are as follows:
- Monday 14 June 2021 at 8:00 p.m. against Sweden in San Mamés, Bilbao
- Friday June 18, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. against Poland in San Mamés, Bilbao
- Wednesday 23 June 2021 at 8:00 p.m. against Slovakia in San Mamés, Bilbao
Should the Iberians win group E, they would compete as group winners on Tuesday, June 29th, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. in Hampden Park, Glasgow against the best third-placed team from either group A / B / C / D
If Spain reaches second place in the group, the team will have to play the second-placed team from group D on Monday 28 June 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the Parken, Copenhagen.
As one of the best third-placed teams they would have to play against the winner of group C in Budapest at 5 p.m. or against the winner of group B at 8 p.m. in Bilbao, San Mamés on Sunday, June 27, 2021.
