Sweden will compete in this year’s UEFA European Championship 2020 Group E against Poland, Slovakia and Spain. During the qualifiers, the Swedes competed in the same group as the Faroe Islands, Malta, Norway, Romania and Spain and finished the group in second place.

The group stage matches for Sweden are as follows:
- Monday 14 June 2021 at 5:00 p.m. against Spain in San Mamés, Bilbao
- Friday June 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. against Slovakia at Aviva Arena, Dublin
- Wednesday 23 June 2021 at 8:00 p.m. against Poland at Aviva Arena, Dublin
Should the Swedes win group E, they would compete as group winners on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. in Hampden Park, Glasgow against the third-placed team from either A / B / C / D.
If Sweden finishes second in the group, the team will have to play the second-placed team from group D on Monday 28 June 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the Parken, Copenhagen.
As one of the best third-placed teams they would have to play against the winner of group C in Budapest at 5 p.m. or against the winner of group B at 8 p.m. in Bilbao, San Mamés on Sunday, June 27, 2021.
